How do I become a certified Open Water Diver:

Learning to scuba dive involves 3 steps.
  1. Knowledge Development - 5 modules (12-15 hours of PADI eLearning/home study or 2 days of class)
  2. Confined Water Training - 5 modules (can be completed in 1 or 2 days in a pool or lake)
  3. Open Water Training - 4 dives (completed in 2 days in a lake, sites vary)

Why choose us:

Simcoe Diving's focus is on quality instruction and customer satisfaction. We strictly adhere to safe instructor/student ratios and never jeopardize safety over profit. We keep our courses competitively priced with small groups and we will do our best to be as flexible as possible to work with different schedules and learning preferences. Most importantly, we will go the extra mile to make sure you have a safe, fun and enjoyable experience. Whether you want to just give scuba a try or are on the path to becoming a PADI professional, we will provide you with the guidance and counselling necessary to ensure your success. We take your trust in our ability seriously and we recognize that our reputation is our future. Let us introduce you to the amazing underwater world. We look forward to your business.

Important:

Please note that learning to scuba dive involves voluntarily answering questions regarding your medical history and health. While many medical conditions do not exclude people from learning to scuba dive, some conditions may require an assessment from a physican. Please review and print off the medical statement prior to any training with us. Should you answer "yes" to any of the medical questions, approval from a physican to participate in scuba diving activities will be required. Some more complex medical situations may require an assessment by an approved hyperbaric (diving) physican. Please contact us should you have any questions regarding your medical situation. All medical statements/conditions are strictly private and confidential and are not shared with any third parties unless authorized. The medical statement form must be completed and submitted to us prior to any in-water training. By not disclosing an accurate medical statement, your safety while participating in scuba diving activities may be at risk. It is the candidates responsibility to fill out the medical statement accurately and update us with any changes that occur in your medical status prior to or during any scuba related training.
